Dear Vi, I was sad to read about Clayton's death. May the Lord bless and comfort you as you go though this difficult time.
Sometime ago I wrote this poem for one who faced loneliness. Perhaps you can get some comfort from it.' George
For the Lonely
There comes a time we feel alone;
When friends and hope seem lost.
And memories come, and thoughts renew;
And tears come with a cost.
The cost sometimes we will not pay,
Because it brings us pain,
But if we trust and battle through,
Old friends can live again.
And even when our earthly friends,
Just can’t seem to relate,
There’s one above, who filled with love,
Smiles down from heaven’s gate.
So when the days seem really long
And nights seem even longer.
Just know He died to give us life
And make us ever stronger.
For power He will give to you,
Not fear to fill the soul .
He’ll add some special wisdom too,
And love to make you whole.

Vi, Mark,Terry and families, We want to extend our deepest sympathies to you all. We all have wonderful memories of Clayton while we were growing up. Clayton and Vi were mom and dad’s best friends, and there was rarely a weekend that we weren’t travelling somewhere to have a picnic, barbecue, or go skidooing together! Oh Christina, I am so sorry to hear about your Grandfather. It is so hard to deal with the loss of someone so close. I believe he is never lost, rather he has moved in to his next adventure.
