To Lorraine, Derick and Britney,
When I think of Billy the Keyhole is the first memory that comes to mind. Many of Sundays I watched him arm wrestle and man could he do that well!! The thing though he was even better at was cheering for Springfield during the KCHL in fact you were all there cheering. Billy loved to tell a good story, make you laugh and tease the heck out of you.
I have some pictures from the early 80's Lorraine I will make sure I get them to you. To all of you I am so sorry for your loss, hold on to and cherish the tons of memories you have of the man who really was larger than life itself.

Dear Lorraine, Derick & Britney,
The passing of our dear Billy, will certainly leave a large void in our lives .But oh the wonderful blessing of memories !
I am especially thankful for the collection of memories we have as a result of our little gathering to celebrate Billy's sixty- first birthday on March 24, ( you Lorraine & Billy, Terry & Lori, David & I ) Precious memories indeed !
What a pleasure it was to prepare his favourite meal (corn chowder),even though he plucked out the ham and served it to you. It gives me great joy to recall how happy and pleased he was.
David and I, and my siblings, with our families will be planting a maple tree in memory of our brother, on the site of your new home, in a place of your choosing.
We are earnestly praying for your peace and comfort.
Lovingly,
David & Connie

Lorraine, Terry, and all the family, very very, sad to learn of Bill's passing. I have many wonderful memories of time spent with Billy in the mine. I always had respect for his work ethic and straight forward style of tackling anything that came along. I can still hear that chuckle of his. He is missed. These are difficult times in so many ways, I know memories of his strength will help you through.

Lorraine, Derick, Christine, Brittney, Josh...our heart breaks for all of you...know how much he loved you...his smile now smiles down on all of us..
Oh dear Billy Boy...what can I say...the Blue Jays, the Leafs, bacon double cheeseburgers from Belles and wherever else, the rye-R&R and nothing but Sussex Golden Gingerale, until recently, diet cranberry juice!...that 74 Dart, how you loved to make it squeal...can still see you leave our driveway, driving by, foot down on that pedal, the roar, you smiling, big wave and Lorraine shaking her head...you never stayed long, (unless you had a drink or 2, or 3), lol..always impatient, come on Lorraine we're going, lol ...
Say hi to brother Ronnie, (Uncle) Jack and all our other loved ones...I'm sure your dad, Eric, has been telling you lots of stories...fly high with the angels, but not too high, cause you have to be close enough when we need to talk to you...we love and miss you...until we meet again Billy Boy...cheers!
Love, Betty Lou and Bill

I was shocked and so sad to hear of Billy's passing. My heart breaks for you all. Billy was the guy that lit up the room. I think back to the days at the Keyhole, when he and Stanley would be "working". Many nights they spent more time pulling pranks and goofing off and of course having a few.
May the memories of your lives together give you strength through this difficult time. So so very sorry

To say that he was a pleasure would be an understatement and he will be missed dearly by everyone who knew him. May your wonderful memories with him give you comfort as you navigate this difficult loss. God Bless you all!
