What sad news to hear that you lost your Dad today. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to get to know him as we were growing up. I remember thinking that Bob was such a serious, stern man when he went off to work but quickly got to realize what a funny loving , good natured man he was as he would tease us about rowing across the lake for our "smoke." I can still picture that knowing smirk and hear his laughter. He and Anne Marie were a very positive influence in my life because they took me in as family and I will always love them for that. I sincerely hope that you are able to surround yourself with warm memories such as these as you learn to move through life without your Dad, Maureen.
