Obituary of Merle Carpenter

The family of Merle Talbert Carpenter, age 82, sadly announce his passing at his home on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Merle was born in Cambridge, NB, the son of the late Talbert and Jean (Akerley) Carpenter.

Merle will be missed by his brother Gerald “Emery” Carpenter (Alice Lee) of Cambridge Narrows, NB; niece Jennifer (Tal) Loughery of Lower Millstream, NB; nephew David (Cindy) Craft of Musguash, NB; great nieces and nephews: Spencer, Sophia & Talmage Loughery and Mason & Caden Craft. His love of travel took him on many trips to Indonesia and he will be missed by his many friends there who thought of him as family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. No visitation was requested by the family, and all services will be held privately.
