Obituary of Dianna Pegg

It is with broken hearts the family of Dianna Lynn Pegg announce her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on January 25, 1958, a daughter of the late Harry and Leona (McAleer) McAlary

Dianna is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Francis Pegg of Norton, NB; children: Lynn Clarke (Shawn) of Saint John, NB, Amanda Pegg (Jason Wheaton) of Midland, NB, Frank Pegg of Norton, NB and Elizabeth Graham (Stuart) of Belleisle Creek, NB; grandchildren: Tyler (Erica), Riley (Moisha), Felix and Camden; sisters: Debbie Peeters and Wendy Maber (Stephen) and many nieces and nephews.

Dianna had a big heart that touched many, she was always there to listen. Dianna met Francis at a young age.  After many dates enjoying Flakie Pastries and pop together their friendship bloomed into marriage with four beautiful children. For many years Dianna enjoyed owning The Hampton Flower Shop, she loved all flowers and enjoyed making beautiful arrangements for others.

From a young age she didn’t miss an opportunity to play bingo with family and friends. She became hard to keep up with, with her many bingo cards and bag of dabbers.  Dianna enjoyed the comfort and quietness of the farm.  She loved sitting on her porch in the sun while haying was being done. Dianna was an animal lover and cared for many including her dog Bootsie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:30pm. The funeral service will be held privately. Donations in memory of Dianna may be made to the Diabetes Association and SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice.
