Bev. & family . I am just seeing this now ( June 29th) . I am so sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I first met Fred in the 3rd grade . He was always teasing and tormenting all of is girls. A trait he continued up to the last time I saw him. Bev. Hugs my friend . I hope to talk to you soon.

What a beautiful video. So many memories of the wonderful Fred Smith I was SO privileged to call my uncle. There’s no doubt he had a Jesus-like approach and tenderness towards people, especially children. He stepped up on so many areas, and he battled through all of life’s challenges so very courageously. He has always been a profound inspiration to me. Thank you, Aunt Bev for choosing such a wonderful addition to our family-life definately won’t be the same without him! Death surely brings heartache, love has created many beautiful memories and those memories we will cherish in our hearts for an eternity. All my love to you, dear Aunt, cousins and friends; we are all morning this amazing man together. Thank you to everyone who showed up, and to those who couldn’t but have taken time to share a memory or reach out to Beverly and her family. I know she has much support and love- please remember to pray for peace and comfort for all those, especially my aunt, her children, and her grandkids, who will be adjusting to life apart from our beloved Fred. <3

We are so sorry to hear about Fred’s passing… we first met Fred about 30 years ago when he was working with Maurice at our neighbor’s home. He was always so friendly and kind and loved a little laugh. No matter where we met after that he would always stop for a minute to catch up on things and check up on how Bryant and the kids were doing… no matter how tough things were for Fred, he always cared about others… he always acknowledged us no matter the situation… he was very genuine and that made him so special… Bev, and all the family, we are so very sorry that you have to suffer his loss… he was truly special… praying for you all… Hugs!! I wish I was there as you lay Fred to rest. We will be thinking of you all. Hold on to all the lovely memories. I have lots. He was a great guy and always had time for us all.
