Obituary of Donna Hamm
It is with sadness that the family of Donna Elaine Hamm, of Cambridge-Narrows, NB announces her death which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, February 3, 2024. She was the loving wife of the late Brian Hamm.
Donna was born on May 25, 1944, in Cherryvale, NB. She was the eldest daughter of the late Russell and Eva (Keith) Corey.
Donna was very active member of the community of Cambridge-Narrows and the surrounding area. Her home was a place of great meals, special times with her grandchildren, and a lakeside life where she hosted gatherings with family and friends.
In past years, both Donna and Brian were involved with the Cambridge-Narrows Fire Department, with Donna being a member of the Flames auxiliary group that supported efforts of the department.
Prior to retirement, Donna built lifelong relationships through her work with The Early Intervention Program in Sussex, NB. She spent her spare time supporting community functions, attending church, and enjoying her love of music with a clogging group.
Donna will be missed by her sons: Trevor Hamm (Joann Belong) of Grovedale, AB, Troy Hamm (Sarah McDonald) of Cambridge-Narrows, NB; her beloved Grandchildren: Ashley, Carley, Michael, Jacob, Dana; her adored Great-Grandchildren: Mason, Brandee, Bailee, Avery, Caiden; as well as her special Step Grandchildren: Charles, Marie; and dear step Great-Grandchildren: Dallas, Harley, Remmington.
Memories of Donna will be shared by her sister Gayle (Stanley) Kincade; brother Luke (Patsy) Corey; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Brian, she was also predeceased by brothers Larry and Nova.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in the Spring.
