Obituary of Allan McDonald

It is with great sadness that the family of Allan Blake McDonald announce his passing on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at his home in McDonalds Point, NB. Born in Sussex, NB, on March 28, 1954, he was the son of the late A. Blake and Nancy (Clark) McDonald

Allan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen (Jamieson) McDonald, of McDonalds Point, NB; daughters: Charity McDonald (John Anderson) of McDonalds Point, NB, Liza McDonald (Chris Martin) of Henderson Settlement, NB and Sarah McDonald of Cambridge-Narrows, NB; sister Amber (Ronnie) Webster of McDonalds Point, NB; grandchildren: Lydia, Madelynn, Izabel and Weston; along with many extended family members and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB where a public visitation will take place on Thursday, August 3, 2023 from 3:00 to 5:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service will take place at Sherwood’s Chapel Friday, August 4, 2023 at 2:00PM. Interment will take place at the McDonalds Pont Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Allan may be made to the McDonalds Point Cemetery, Sussex Extra Mural, Cancer Society or the charity of the donor’s choice.
