Obituary of Otis Derick Regular
It is with deep sadness, the family announces the passing of Otis Derick Regular of Woodstock, NL, husband of Wavey (Mitchell) Regular, which occurred on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, with his much-loved family at his side. He was born on March 15, 1955 in Woodstock, NL, a son of the late Mervin and Rowena (Sacrey) Regular.
Otis is survived by his much loved and cherished wife of 48 years, Wavey; he was the beloved father to daughter Tara-Lee Kwan and her husband Tak of Ajax, ON; his son Dyson Regular and his wife Melissa of Sussex, NB; he was tremendously proud of his grandchildren: Parker, Bailey, Jerome and Katie. He is also survived by his brothers: Barry (Heather) Regular, Dennis (Kay) Regular, Lorne (Patsy) Regular; sisters: Mavis (Raymond) Hewlett, Nerissa (Baxter) Greenham, Denise (Darrell) Boyd; mother-in-law Margaret Mitchell (Caleb); he will also be remembered by his aunt Minnie Walsh and uncle Donald (Shirley) Sacrey; sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister Norma Joan Regular; nephews John Hewlett and Nathan Regular.
Public visitation will take place from Woodstock United Pentecostal Church, on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 7 to 9 PM.
Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM, also from the church. Interment will follow at The United Pentecostal Church Cemetery, Woodstock, NL.

Otis’ family would like to thank their family and friends who have supported them through Otis’ illness. Your love, support, and prayers will never be forgotten. The family would also like to thank Dr. Nakkar and the wonderful healthcare team who cared for him.
