So sorry for your loss.
Greg was a fine guy. I remember when as a ranger, my DNR truck broke down out in the woods in back of Minto this time of year. I radioed Greg and ask him where to have it towed. He told me not to tow it and he'd be right up. He arrived out in the woods late in the afternoon, dropped the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump and sent me on my way. That was true dedication and commitment. Thank you Greg.

I was so sorry to hear the passing of Greg. I had the privilege of working with DNR when Greg was our region 3 mechanic. Him Mansal Muir and Jim McLaughlin were our guys to keep vehicles going. Greg was a wonderful gent. Great sense of humour and i remember a time i walked in to the mechanic garage to see Greg… no sign of him so i called out his name and he answered. I walked around a truck with the hood up… there was Greg sitting on motor/under hood and working on the truck. He was amazing.
I loved chatting with Greg anytime i could… he was a special guy.
Bob (Dewey) Doucet.

They refer to this as the "Tribute Wall" . I don't think it gets any better than the Tribute Greg's obituary has paid to him it truly honours him and his life. I've read his obituary multiple times. Laughing and then giving pause. I wish I could relive my life growing up in Belleisle. It was people and families like Greg's that made it so much fun. There was an abundance of love, kindness and laughter. I was fortunate to live in the same community as Greg and his family. One of many.
I would like to offer Carl, Debbie, Lisa, family and friends of Greg our heartfelt condolences at his passing. His memory will live on in the heart's and mind's of many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Greg was the salt of the earth. He would always fix my $500 cars I started out with when I was younger. One time the motor went on my wipers, so I went to Greg’s garage. He made some phone calls and found one at Anderson’s junk yard in Sussex corner, so we went for a drive. We took it off that car and went back to his garage to install it on mine. He would not take any money from me he said he was just happy to go for the drive. That’s the kind of man he was.

I remember uncle Greg as a very kind, caring and gentle soul and have fond memories of visits with he and Donna and the children at our Joinville home. My one regret is never making it to Belleisle Creek to spend more time with this wonderful man. May God comfort you all with His peace. Wayne and Linda Denny, Winslow Maine.

So sorry to hear of Gregs passing.Everyone liked Greg and he did many favors to a lot of people. One time I was at his garage and noticed he had broken the handle on his sledge so I took it home and made one for it...It didnt look great by any means but he didnt complain.I told him that everyone wasnt quite as forgiving about my crude handles and I told him a story which I wont go into details about. We joked about that handle for nearly 20 years and had our last laugh about handles the last time I saw him couple weeks ago..Will miss you friend..Our condolences to the family...

So sorry for all. Sure miss seeing Greg at the Home. Always fun. In later weeks I would move his chair up to the dining room table and put his (bib) apron on for him. Most days always felt like a new Corvette.. A great sense of humour. The nurse would come with one little pill for him and he always said,"do I take this all at once ?) With a grin on . GREG......
We will miss our little chats and visits when we would go see Wayne ...you would find them all around in a circle, some telling stories, and some having a little snooze.the farther you went ...you would find half of Belleisle and Springfield...kind of like old home week for us ....Aunts cousins and neighbours...Aunt Agnes always wanted to take Greg for lunch with the girls to Smitty....because he drove bus with her brother Lloyd...Ivan and Greg had an on going joke about axe handles....that would come up ever time we went.....always asked about Mom ....showed him some picture of things going on in Belleisle ,new bridge, new homes, how things had changed...Greg would get caught pushing Lawrence with his walker....we were going to see Ivan Aunt one day and Greg told me he really wasn't supposed to do that..... but you won't tell... always willing to help people put on or take off bibs and always had an extra in is walker... walker was always free for sitting on while visiting...usually had his cap on....and you could find Greg on his bed and Lawrence in his is chair .....tv on and them both snoozing....was so nice for them to have such a friendship......thats last their lifetime.....to you kids you were truely blessed to have had such a wonderful Dad .....thanks for sharing him the rest of us....

To Gregg's family, I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Gregg was a very kind man. At 1 buisness I use to work at, Gregg was a customer an this was before his wife passed away. This one time, he came to my cash, saw my name on my shirt and from there on he'd sing "My Wild Irish Rose!" lol. There were a few years I lost touch with Gregg but then back in 2017, I was doing security at the Kiwanis Nursing home. When he spotted me, how he so remembered me. When I asked if he was going to sing to me "My WIld Irish Rose" he replied, no I don't think I will after I lost my wife. I could tell Gregg really missed her. To Greggs family, I wish you all will find peace over time and remember all the good times together and all the stories.

I’m so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing, he was such a lovely man and so very kind. Greg was a wonderful neighbor and always looked after any of my car problems, and there were many! He’d give me his car to take to work while he worked on mine and then would drive into town and deliver it back to me. I even got to play the spoons one night at a camp with him playing the banjo…. good times. He will be missed, Godspeed Greg.
