Obituary of Mary Alice Stewart

It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Alice Stewart announces her passing which occurred on February 10, 2022 at her home in Hampton, NB. Born in Springhill, NS, on September 8, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Margaret (Alexander) Snell.

Mary is survived by her daughters: Luanne (Sean) Lanigan of Springfield, NB and Marlene Dean (Alvin Hicks) of Leduc, AB; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great great grandson; as well as several extended family. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Harry Stewart; sister Betty Brown; and brother Ralph Snell. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the family’s wishes, private services will be held.
