I have lived in NS for many years and just read of Raymond’s passing. Mare, Raymond and Chris were our neighbours for almost my entire childhood. I have many wonderful memories of Raymond and Goldie walking around the block and often stopping into our house for a cup of tea. When I would return to Norton to visit my parents and then just my mom I would sometimes see Raymond on the Main Street and would always stop to say hi. He always had a big smile for me, wanted to know how “Dougie” was doing and would update me on Chris. I would always walk away smiling and thinking what a kind, sweet and gentle man he was.
