Obituary of Cindy Louise Floyd

It is with great sadness that the family of Cindy Louise Floyd (Mott) announce her passing which occurred on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB, on October 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Rhona (Mitton) Mott.

Cindy loved her family and cherished her grandchildren most of all; they were her pride and joy. She enjoyed arts and crafts, toll painting as well as gardening and will be greatly missed.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband George Floyd Jr of Springfield, NB; daughter Lisa Mott (Dave Marks) of Salt Springs, NB; grandchildren: Magen and Josslyn; brother Tony Mott (Ellie) of Vancouver Island, BC; sisters: Teresa McSorley (Tony) of Alberta and Vera Lynch (Neil) of Vancouver Island, BC; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center (506-839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB and will be held privately. Donations in memory of Cindy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
