It is with sadness that the family of Donald Wellington Ross, age 76, husband of Wilhelmina (Billie) Ross of Mercer Settlement, NB, announce his death, at the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sussex, NB, on April 16, 2015. He was born on July 15, 1938, in Southfield, NB, the son of the late John and Marion (Hosford) Ross. Donnie is survived by his wife Billie; daughters Elizabeth and Allan Osmond of Picadilly, NB, and Colleen and Carl Stockford of Sussex, NB; sons Murray and Tammy Doucette of North Bay, ON, and Bob (Katrina Schwetz) Doucette of Picadilly, NB; daughter-in-law Stephanie Doucette of Sussex, NB; grandchildren Ocean-Leigh, Adena and Haley; sisters Evelyn Gillcash of Richmond, BC, and Dora Reicker of Kiersteadville, NB; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brothers Melvin and Ralph; sisters Mabel MacKereth and Irene Campbell. He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery in the spring.
