Obituary of Pearl Broome
It is with great sadness that the family of Lillian Pearl (McInnis) Broome of Springfield, NB, announces her passing on March 14, 2015, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was the wife of the late David G. Broome (2013). Born in Plaster Rock N.B. on January 16, 1929, a daughter of late Percy "Ray" and Mary "Mammie" McInnis.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed by all who knew her.
Pearl is survived by her five children: Raymond (Cheryl), and Ike. Daughters Cheryl Smith, Janet (Lawrence) Briggs and Nancy Broome; nine grandchildren: Andrew (Monica) Broome, Keith (Sarah) Broome, Lisa (Chris) Fudge, Missy (Brent) Carr, Ryan (Kaylie) Broome, Ralph Johnson, Jason Johnson, Nathan Briggs and Jaxson Broome; three great grandchildren: Tolan Fudge, Perrin Fudge and Ella Carr; sisters June (Laurie) Butler and Arlene (Onesime St Croeur) Harding; brothers Ira"Bud" Mcinnis and Murray McInnis; and by her #3 son Orland Miller. Besides her parents and husband, Pearl was predeceased by her brother Leon and sister Rita.
Resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home, 18 Scovil Road, Norton N.B. with visiting from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 11, 2015. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Sherwood’s Chapel. A Private interment will be held at a later date at Midland Cemetery, Midland, NB.
