Obituary of Elsie Craft

It is with sadness the family of Elsie Evelyn Craft, age 83, wife of the late Robert R. Craft, of McDonald’s Point, NB, announce her death at her residence, on March 7, 2015. She was born on January 28, 1932, in Saint John, NB, a daughter of the late Harold and Nettie (Craft) Hickman. Elsie is survived by her sons: Robert Craft and his wife Shirley of Fredericton, NB, Andrew Craft of McDonald’s Point, NB, Scott Craft of Kingston, ON, and Dan Craft and his wife Debbie of Charters Settlement, NB; daughter Heather Jackson and her husband Dwight of Dieppe, NB; grandchildren: David (Janelle) Craft, Steve (Olivia) Craft, Debbie (Chris) Lister, Roxanne (Mike) Bulmer, Luke MacDonald (Kymm Vail), Eilish Craft, Johnathan Craft, Sarah Craft and Sam Craft; great grandchildren: Nicole and Allison Bulmer, Quade and Brooklynn MacDonald, and Cole, Henry, Isabelle and Emily Craft, and Abby and Sophie Lister; sisters: Barbara (George) Nixon, Norma Love, Winnifred Goguen and Charlotte Hickman; daughter-in-law Margot Craft; brothers-in-law: Perry Craft (Marilyn) and Barry Grant; many nieces and nephews; best friends Jennifer, Adam, Avery and Kora McDonald. Besides her husband and parents, Elsie was predeceased by her brothers: Francis, Raymond, Donald, Lloyd and James; and sister Shirley Peacock. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visitation on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. Rob Marsh will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Thursday, March 12, 2015. Interment will take place in the spring in McDonald’s Point Cemetery. Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the McDonald’s Point Cemetery or to the charity of the donor's choice.
