It is with sadness the family of Lee Abner Morrell, age 84, of Hatfield Point, NB, announce his death at Riverdale Manor, Hampton, NB, on March 4, 2015. After retirement, Lee continued to be active doing carpentry, selling Christmas trees and working in the woods. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved being outdoors. He bought a large property in West Scotch Settlement where he built a small camp and two ponds, filling them with fish. Lee lived there after his retirement for his last few years, when he then moved to Hampton, and finally to Riverdale Manor, where he remained until his death, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Lee loved spending time with his family. His greatest pride and joy was his grandchildren. He would often be seen at their basketball, hockey and soccer games, cheering them on with a loud whistle.
