It is with great sadness that Donald "Donnie" Burton Jones, age 65, has gone to be with the Lord, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on February 18, 2015. The loving husband of Debbie (Steele) Jones, of Norton, NB, Donald was born on October 4, 1949 in Saint John, NB, a son of the late Edward and Dorcas Jones. Don is survived by his much loved wife of 42 years, Debbie Jones; children: Trevor (Manon) Jones of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, Jackie (Troy) Clark of St. Albert, AB and Shaun (Crystal) Jones of Blacks Harbour, NB; grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Taylor Jones and Wyatt, Tyra, Kierra and Brinley Clark; sisters: Audrey (John) Titus, Marjorie (Bobbie) Richard and Edie Jones; brother Daryl (Sharon) Jones; sister-in-law Betty Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Donald was predeceased by his brother Hartley Jones. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) 18 Scovil Road, Norton. A celebration of Donnie’s life will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 with Pastor Walter Perry officiating. The celebration will be followed with a time of fellowship with the family. Interment will take place in the spring at Moser Hill Cemetery, St. Martins.
