With sadness the family wish to announce, that after a long period of deteriorating health, Marina Githa Sipkema, passed away at her residence. She was the daughter of Margaretha and Sytse Sipkema, mother of Luc and Cody Sipkema, grandmother of Lana Sipkema, sister of Leo and Diana Sipkema, aunt of Adam, Geena, Liam and Levi Sipkema. Marina lived and raised her two sons in Cole Harbour, Dartmouth, NS, for twenty years, and the road to Dartmouth was very often travelled, especially by her parents. Marina passed away the 15th of December, 2014. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A private family service and interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Marina may be to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
