The death of Ernest Arthur Isbill, age 87, the husband of Evelyn (Asbridge) Isbill, of Midland, NB, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Friday, May 23, 2014. He was born on June 18, 1926 in England the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Walker) Isbill. He is survived by his wife Evelyn; sons John and Elsie of Midland, and Kenneth and Lillian of Bloomfield; daughter Deborah and Stephen Harper of Hatfield Point ; daughter-in-law Sharon Isbill of Midland; grandchildren Shelley and Ben, Alex and Shelley, Angela and Roland, Cory and Debora, Kim and Andrew, Shawn and Corinna, Jessica, Rebecca, and Christina; great grandchildren Brandon, Erika, Connor, Zachary, Ragan, Isabella, Claire, Quincey, Maxson, Karli, Casey, Megan, Lauryn, William, Danika, Elexa and Kyara; brothers Ted and Leota Isbill, Herb and Myra Isbill; sister Phyllis Healey; brothers-in-law George Asbridge and Paul Sigouin; sisters-in-law Betty Ewing, Elizabeth Asbridge and Lois Asbridge; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by son Robert; sister Gladys and Hiram Morrison. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506) 839-2156, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday, May 26, 2014, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2014.
