It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Arthur "Gov" Wason DeChamp, age 78, husband of the late Elizabeth (Peddle) DeChamp, of Saint John,NB, at the Dr. V. A. Snow Centre on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Born in Saint John on March 19, 1936, he was a son of the late Arthur and Hattie (Bustin) DeChamp. Arthur is survived by nieces: Sylvia Gillies and her husband Martin of Belleisle, Maurina Waugh and her husband Blair of Summerside, PE, and Carol Brech and her husband Peter of Waubaushene, ON; nephews: Danny DeChamp and his wife Tracey of Ottawa, ON, and Bruce Bedford of Collingwood, ON; as well as several great nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, Arthur was predeceased by his brother Murray DeChamp and sister Luverne Bedford. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre, 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, E5T 1Z2, (506-839-2156).
