Surrounded by his beloved wife of 24 years, his long time friend Cindy, and his faithful companion Joey; Allan Robert McLean of Shannon passed peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit in the Saint John Regional Hospital, on March 14, 2014. He was the husband of Connie (Lawson) McLean. Allan was born on December 2, 1943, in Sussex, NB, the son of the late Wiley and Treva (Tingley) McLean. He is survived by his wife and soul mate Connie; sons Danny (Cindy), Wiley (Brenda), and Tony (Regina); daughters Denise (Mark) Wilkins, Lisa and Andy, Carla, and Kimberley (Dean) Acheson; grandchildren: Valerie, Michael, Wade, Jenny, Kyle, Jessica, John, Dakota, Matthew, Nathan, Corey, Sarah and Kailey; great grandchildren: Chevala, Chetley, Jocelyn, Curtis, Matthew and Austin; mother-in-law Doris Lawson; brother-in-law Bruce (Cindy) Lawson; sister-in-law Bonnie Lawson; brother Hilton (Ariena); former wife Joan (Russell); long time close friend Cindy Gagne and Mike; many nieces, nephews and cousins; plus many friends and faithful companions Joey Stub and Tuffy. Visiting will take place at Shannon Baptist Church, Shannon, NB, on Monday, from 3 to 6 pm. Funeral service will be held from Shannon Baptist Church, at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Interment will follow in Shannon Cemetery.
