The death of Mary Catherine Floyd of Sussex, NB, occurred on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the Sussex Health Centre. She was born on October 19, 1939 in Margaree Harbour, NS, the daughter of the late Leonard and Etta (MacQuarry) MacLennan. Mary is survived by sons: Walter Floyd and his wife Susan of Sussex, Kevin Floyd of Moncton; friend Roy Mercer; grandchildren: Josh, Alissa (Patrick) Landry, Adam; great grandchildren: Emily, Justin, Taylor, Makaylee; sisters: Ann and Tootie. She was predeceased by her brother Tom. Arrangements for Mary are under the care of Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will take place in the Spring at Riverbank Cemetery.
