The death of Doreen Graeme Perry, age 84, of Gagetown, occurred at the Orchard View Nursing Home on August 21, 2013. Born in Gagetown, March 2, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Reta (Graham) Ashburne. Doreen is survived by her son, Neil and Janice Perry of Gagetown, NB; grandchildren: Ben, Samantha, Daniel, Nick and Linda; special grandchild: Norman and Kim Bouwmeister and their children, Taylor and Jase; brother-in-law: Raymond and Nancy Perry of Rexton, NB; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her son Richard Perry; and brother: Arnold Ashburne. Visitation will take place at St. John’s Anglican Church Guild Hall, Gagetown, on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. John’s Anglican Church, Gagetown at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2013. Interment will follow in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Gagetown. Donations to the MS Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
