The death of Westley Dale Stevens, age 24, of Norton, occurred by accident, on June 22, 2013. He was born in Sussex, NB, on June 22, 1989, the son of Sheila Parlee and Dale Stevens. He is survived by his parents; girlfriend Amanda Hebert; brothers Scott and Matthew Parlee; nephews Dyson, Edward and Karson; maternal grandmother Agnes Parlee of Saint John; Aunts Karen and John Goddard, Diane and Bill Tabor; Uncles Carl and Brenda Parlee, Doug Stevens, Kenny Stevens, Lloyd Stevens, Gary Stevens, and Dave Stevens; and several cousins. Westley was predeceased by maternal grandfather James Parlee; Aunt Mary Amirault; Uncle Edward Parlee; paternal grandparents Greta and Leonard Stevens. Westley loved spending time with friends, family and especially his girlfriend and nephews. He liked spending time with friends and would lend a hand when needed. He enjoyed smoking and drinking with the boys. One of his hobbies was working with wood, making garbage boxes, picnic tables, or anything you had an idea for. Westley worked for Trevor McMillan at McMillan’s Forest Products for nine years. He always had a smile and will sadly missed by all his family and friends. He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm, on Thursday. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Friday, June 28, 2013. Interment will follow in Riverbank Cemetery. Donations to a living memorial would be appreciated.
