Obituary of Myrna Chittick

The death of Myrna Lois Chittick, age 83, of Hampton and formerly of Norton, NB, occurred on June 4, 2013, at the Dr. V.A Snow Centre. Myrna was the wife of the late Gordon Chittick. She was born in Saint John, NB, on September 10, 1929, the daughter of the late Donald and Annie (Hicks) Bustin Myrna is survived by daughters Laurie and Brad Osburn of Norton and Karen and Will Reinhart of Norton; grandchildren: Ben, Brodie, Bree, Bethany, Bailee, Jordan, Kaylee and Anneke; great grandchild, Hunter; brother, Creighton and Venita Bustin of Saint John; sisters: Joan and John Donald of Browns Flat, Val and Norm Langille of Saint John, June Bustin of Saint John, Donna Gaudet of Meteghan, NS, and Sharon Foster of Halifax, NS. From her Grand-kids... From waking up and jumping in bed with her, to lying on the floor with her at night watching Wheel of Fortune, our Nana was always right there beside us. Always concerned with our schooling and teaching us our multiplication tables, our Nana was caring and patient every step of the way. We have countless memories of all the little things she did for us...like the way she would make us litres of chocolate milk in a day or sneak us sips of her tea. She would do anything for us, we didn't even have to ask....we find that so inspiring! Nana was a beautiful person...very honest, full of jokes and lots and lots of laughter. We LOVE our Nana and we have so many more wonderful memories to cherish. We miss you. At Myrna’s request there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A family gathering will be arranged for a future date. Donations in memory of Myrna may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a memorial of the donor’s choise.
