John (Fanny) Marks was a devoted husband, father, papa and brother. With a wonderful wife by his side they raised three amazing children. He always made everyone laugh. He was friends to many, always listening and helping anyone he could. He loved doing wood working and mechanic work. He also loved fishing and hunting deer and moose with the boys. He loved spending time with the grandkids laughing and bugging. He loved spending time with his kids on ALL their projects (cars, houses, garages). He loved watching the sun rise and listening to all Mom’s birds and the squirrel bug the dogs. His most favourite thing to do was, on a nice warm day he and Mom would go out on the bike just to tour all the back roads and look for old cars. John was a long standing faithful employee of Strescon in Saint John for 37 years. He was a member of the Valley Cruisers Car Club and he loved going to all the antique car shows. He enjoyed having a few cold ones with his son and son-in-laws while cooking a steak on the BBQ. He will be always remembered and missed by all, because anywhere you go he has touched something.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev.
