Mary Isabell (McKinney) Jones, age 86, wife of Raymond Jones, of Evandale, NB, passed away at the Sussex Health Centre on May 9, 2013 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Gagetown on Oct. 17, 1926, the daughter of Herb and Bessie McKinny. Mary’s greatest joy in life was her family. She loved to look after her Boys. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Mary was known for her cooking, especially her bread. She loved to play Bingo and cards. She loved to tease and be teased. Mary is survived by her her husband Raymond; two sons Kevin and Judy of Evandale and Mark and Wonda of Roachville; five grandchildren Jennifer and Brad Jardine, Melanie and Terry Marr, Ashley and Scott Paisley, Miranda and Mirissa Jones; six great grandchildren Bradley and Luke Jardine, Kevin, Ashlynne and Ryden Marr, and Aleigha Paisley; sister-in-law Marion Rird; several nieces and nephews. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her brothers Lloyd, Edgar and Gordon; sisters Nellie and Nora. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday, May 12, 2013, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Wesley United Church Brown’s Flat, at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 13, 2013. Interment will follow in adjoining cemetery.
