Obituary of Frances Cameron

The death of Frances Bernice Cameron, wife of the late G. Arthur Cameron, of Hampstead, NB, occurred at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on Sunday, April 7, 2013. She was born on October 27, 1918, in Hampstead, NB, the daughter of the late E. Henry & Ida (Cooper) Ross. Frances is survived by her daughters Gail Holmes and her husband Fred of Prescott, ON, Barb Brown and her husband Ron of Apohaqui, NB; son Richard Cameron and his wife Janet of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren Suzanne & Mike Hendricks, Beth Nixon, Jeffrey & Ruby Nixon, Bev & Durck deWinter, Bobbi & Jaret Chestnut, Kirk Cameron & Ashley, Jodell Cameron; great grandchildren Jordan, Brianna, Cameron, Ben, Cameron, Lindsay, Alex, Jayden, Riley, Will, Blake; sister in law Anne Ross, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Hazen, William and Ford; sister in laws Greta Ross and Margaret Ross. Frances loved to take part in the Queenstown dances and take drives through the country roads. She spent many hours in her kitchen preparing food for the Queenstown Country Fair and was recognized by her delicious pies. She was very proud of the Queenstown PC Association of which she was a member for many years. Most of all she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Gerry Laskey, will be held from the St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Queenstown, NB at 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 11, 2013. Interment will take place in St. Stephen’s Anglican Cemetery. Donations in memory of Frances, may be made to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Kiwanis Nursing Home or to the memorial of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated.
