The death of Georgie Anna Urquhart, age 89, wife of the late Deverne Urquhart, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was born in Belyea’s Cove, NB, on October 7, 1923, the daughter of the late George & Annie (Logue) Mott. Georgie is survived by her daughters Ruth McKiel of McDonald’s Point, NB, Maxine & Dennis Grummett of Toronto, ON, Diana & David Lewis of St. George, NB; sons Gary & Donna Urquhart of Kars, NB, Ivan & Gerlinde Urquhart of Hoyt, NB; grandchildren Andrea, Allyson, Jennifer & Janet McKiel, Sara & Amanda Grummett, Jay & Josh Lewis, Chris Urquhart, Sabrina Kenny, Jake Urquhart; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Adam, Robyn, Catherine, Christian, Shannon, Melissa, Courtney, Nathan, Jack, Tanch, Austin, Chloe, Brody; sisters Grace & Mac MacDonald, Lilly Barnes, Ruth & Bert Norrad, Pat & Ove Samuelsen; brother Irvin & Verna Mott; sister-in-law Hazel Mott; several nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by an infant son; granddaughter Misty; grandson David Gary; son-in-law George McKiel; brothers Ivan Mott & Blake Mott; brother-in-law Lawrence Barnes and sister-in-law Madeline Mott. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of Georgie's life, conducted by Pastor Tim MacDonald, will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012. Interment will follow at Orange Cemetery, Kars. Donations in memory of Georgie, may be made to the Orange Cemetery or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
