The death of Myrtle Gladys Wheaton, age 92, wife of the late Madison Wheaton of Belleisle Creek, NB., occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, on Saturday, March 17, 2012. She was born on October 4, 1919, the daughter of the late John Oram and Etta (Neill, Oram) Baldwin. Myrtle is survived by sister-in-law Gale Baldwin of Norton; one niece, one nephew, one great niece and two great nephews; several Wheaton nephews and nieces and Leonard nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Madison in 1977 and daughter Judy in 1949, and brother Fraser Baldwin. Myrtle was organist at Kings Kirk United Church for ten years, a Life Member of the Belleisle W.I., a member of St. Andrews United Church and Choir Member, member of the Norton Seniors. She was an avid bowler and like knitting and gardening. She is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Tom Robinson, will be held from St. Andrew’s United Church, Norton, at 11:00 am., Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Interment will be later in Union Cemetery.
