The death of Aubrey Frederick Mercer, age 58, occurred at the Mill Cove Nursing Home, on March 13, 2012. He was born in Sussex, NB, on November 9, 1953, the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Forsyth) Mercer. Aubrey is survived by his sisters Eileen and Doug Nichols, Nettia and Lloyd Jones, Lois and Gary McCrea, Lauretta and Charles Jennings, Eva Hatty and Anthony Guimond; Audrey and Bill St. Amand; brothers Donald and Janet Mercer, Clinton and Barb Mercer, John Mercer and Barry Mercer; and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Isabell and Clara; brothers Henry and Everett. He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Rick Vincent, will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am., Monday, March 19, 2012. Interment will take place later in Christ Church Cemetery, Bloomfield, NB.
