It is with great sadness , the family of Bettianne Vail announces her death on Sunday, August 21, 2011, in her 60th year, surrounded by her family at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Chipman, NB, August 13, 1951, the daughter of Fenton Bishop and the late Anis (West) Bishop.
Bettianne, BA, Mom, Mama, Grammie, Grandma, however she was refered to, she would answer to any of these names. She loved all her past times, which included puzzles, knitting, talking, reading, spending time with family, and of course a good disscusion (as she called it) with the son in laws (which she hated to lose). Betty (mom) was also involved several different groups including the Basement Players for several years. She also loved the girls she worked with and the V. A. S. call center, I am sure there were lots of talking going on and lots of laughs. She will be missed a lot, not just by her family, but by her friends to, they stood beside her just as we stood beside her....love ya and miss ya.....
Bettianne is survived by Wayne, her adoring husband of 40 years. She was the caring and devoted mother of Jennifer and her husband Adam McDonald of McDonald’s Point; Jeanette and her husband Nathan McDonald of McDonald’s Point; Travis Vail and Tracey Roussel of Dieppe.
