Obituary of Billy Webster
The death of William (Billy) George Webster, age 66, occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Guthrie Road, NB, on March 24, 2011. He was born on Nov 15, 1944, in Midland, NB.
Billy was the second of five children born to the late Myles and Mildred Webster. He was a great, kind and loving brother. He always made us laugh, always teasing and making jokes, being a good listener, giving good advice when we needed it, not a mean bone in his body, he tried to help everyone out when he could. He loved to hunt with Dad, helped on the farm, was a strong Maple Leafs Hockey fan, loved to play board games, ski-dooing, four wheeling, going to wrestling matches, watching the deer with Dad in Jemseg, playing hockey at the outdoor rink in Midland. He was a very good hearted big brother to his four sisters. Billy will be dearly missed by his loving sisters, Doris, Marilyn and Marlene. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.
Billy is survived by his sisters Doris and Frank Mercer of Corn Hill, Marilyn and Dave Griffin of Saint John and Marlene and Colby Mallery of Upper Gagetown; aunt Mildred Webster of Springfield; uncle Murray and Jo Webster of Sussex; nephew Andy Mercer; five nieces Angela Mercer, Yvonne Griffin, Melissa, Sarah and Katie Mallery; great neice Christena Kathleen Mullett; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Barbara Webster and nephew Trevor Griffin.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting on Monday from 3 to 7 p.m. A celebration of Billy’s life, will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. from Sherwood’s Chapel.
