It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of William Ralph Cummings announces his passing, which occurred on July 15, 2020 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in Norton, NB, in 1931, he was a son of the late Henry and Clara (Bagley) Cummings. Billy will be remembered for his love of horse racing, his appreciation for all sports, and a good game of cards, which he would enjoy with his friends and family. William will be greatly missed by his siblings: Dorothy Campbell of Nortomn, Philip Cummings (Linda) of Hampton, NB, Adella Griffiths (Claude) of Norton, Jack Cummings of Norton, Louise Cummings (Chris Foster) of Norton, Mary Ellen Snyder (Brian) of Sussex, NB, and Betty Whalen of Norton. William is also survived by his brother-in-law, Bill Miller of Bloomfield, NB, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. William was predeceased by his brothers: Maurice Cummings and Carroll Cummings; his sister: Honora Miller; and his brothers-in-law: Ora Campbell and Richard Whalen. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private services will be held.
