The time we spent as kids at Herbs were always topped off with a visit from Billy and if we were lucky we got to get on a horse. I always felt close to my own Dad when I was around Billy and perhaps that is what makes his passing that much more of a loss. This was our only contact but each time he came to my farm he asked what I was currently doing and enjoyed seeing my cattle and facilities . He always had a compliment and of course a funny story.
