It is with great sadness that the family of Kevin Dean Hanlin of Salt Springs, NB, announces his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 3, 2020. Born in Hampton, NB, on February 17, 1958, he was the son of the late Ronald and Marguerite (Carson) Hanlin. Kevin is survived by his sons: Kevin Jr. "Aulay" (Faith) Hanlin of Sussex, NB, Keith (Robyn) Hanlin of Sussex, NB, and Michael (Sonya) Hanlin of Sussex, NB; beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Sean, Tiana, M.J., Payeton, Jaxson, Jayce, Levi and Raynah; brothers: Daryl (Bernice) Hanlin, Junior (Joy) Hanlin, Paul (Connie) Hanlin, Karl (Tracey) Hanlin and Corey (Tracy) Hanlin; sisters: Audrey (Mike) Rogers, Valerie (John) Burke, Rita Hanlin (Danny Floyd) and Nancy (Brad) Craft; brothers-in-law: Kevin (Carol) McAulay and Jimmy (Sheri) McAulay; sisters-in-law: Linda (James) Fougere, Janice (Ray) Bottenfield, Stacy (Clare) Lobbezoo, Sherry Deuville and Darlene Black; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his loving wife Brenda Hanlin in June of 2019; brother, Stuart Hanlin; nephew, Paul Hanlin; sisters-in-law: Gail Black and Kelly Wall. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00am from Salina Kirk United Church, 2259 Route 860, Salt Springs, NB. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to Dr. Hall, Dr. Gray and all the staff in the Saint John Regional Hospital Oncology Department. Your kindness and compassion shown towards Kevin and his family will not be forgotten.
