Obituary of Brenda Hanlin

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Eileen Hanlin of Salt Springs, NB, announces her passing which occurred at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, NB, on June 11, 2019. Born in Saint John, NB, on November 10, 1959, she was the daughter of the Margaret (Price) Black and the late Cecil Black. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Kevin Hanlin; sons: Kevin Jr. "Aulay" (Faith) Hanlin of Sussex, NB, Keith (Robyn) Hanlin of Sussex, NB, and Michael (Sonya) Hanlin of Sussex, NB; brothers: Kevin (Carol) McAulay of Barnesville, NB, and Jimmy (Sheri) McAulay of Saint John, NB; sisters: Linda (James) Fougere of Quispamsis, NB, Janice (Ray) Bottenfield of Welland, ON, and Stacy (Clare) Lobbezoo of Grand Prairie, AB; beloved grandchildren: Nicholas, Sean, Tiana, M.J., Payeton, Jaxson, Jayce, Levi and Raynah; brothers-in-law: Daryl (Bernice) Hanlin, Junior (Joy) Hanlin, Paul (Connie) Hanlin, Karl (Tracey) Hanlin, Corey (Tracy) Hanlin and Jeff Wall; sisters-in-law: Sherry Deuville, Audrey (Mike) Rodgers, Valerie (John) Burke, Rita Hanlin (Danny Floyd), Nancy (Brad) Craft and Darleen Black; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her father, Brenda was predeceased by her sisters: Gail Black and Kelly Wall; brother-in-law Stewart Hanlin; and nephew Paul Hanlin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00am from Salina Kirk United Church, 2124 Route 860, Salt Springs, NB. Memorial donations in memory of Brenda may be made to A Living Memorial or to the memorial of the donor’s choice.
