It is with heavy hearts the family of David O. M. Scarlett of Hatfield’s Pt. NB announce his passing on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Sussex Health Centre. Born in 1935 at Hatfield Pt. NB, he was the son of the late George (Ted) and Mabel (Huggard) Scarlett. David worked for over 40 years at the Saint John Dry Dock before retirement. David is survived by his wife Patricia (Clinch) Scarlett, his children; Paul (Wendy) Hawkins of Pennfield NB, Kevin (Jennifer) Scarlett of Hatfield Pt. NB, Trina Scarlett (David McLennan) of Saint John NB, Cory (Charlene) Scarlett of Hamilton ON, Grandchildren; Kalie (Andrew) Greer, Tori Hawkins, Kalie Scarlett, Lilly Scarlett, Taylor Lamond, Morgan Scarlett-Lamond, Heather and Matthew Scarlett, Great Grandchildren; Adrianna Greer, Amelia Greer, and Bradley Scarlett-Lamond. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, and will be held privately. Interment will be in Bayview Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of David may be made to Parkinson Canada or to a memorial of the donor’s choice.
