Obituary of Natalie Renshaw

It is with profound sadness that the family of Natalie Violet Renshaw, of Hatfield Point, announces her death which occurred on November 12, 2018 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 14, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor (Henderson) Whitenect. Natalie graduated from Belleisle Regional High School, and after one year, she was teaching at the school in Mt. Piscah. She worked many jobs over the years, including: NB Tel, Kincade Rentals, and finally Wyndham Holdings. Natalie enjoyed reading, cooking, country music, cats, playing Skip-Bo and crib. She always looked forward to outings of any kind, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all else, Natalie loved her son, all her grandchildren and all her great grandchildren. Her life revolved around them, and she would cherish the time spent with her family. Natalie is survived by her son John Renshaw of Rothesay, NB; chosen sisters: Carol (Veinot) Masson (Dwaine Spicer) and Kathleen Cochrane (Gerald); beloved friends: Della Durelle, Cathy Jones and Pat Cuppins; companion Bill Cooper; special cousin Joan Leggett of Boston; cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many cousins and close friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), Norton, NB. A Celebration of Natalie’s life will be held on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 1:00pm from Sherwood’s Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Natalie may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
