Sylvia, I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss of Bill. You and Bill gave me my first job at the Jeffrey's Store many years ago working cash, babysitting Shawn and Mike, and enjoying many pool days. You guys were like second parents growing up during my teenage years. I will never forget the many laughs and jokes that Bill had with you and I. You two were a great couple with big hearts and was always there to lend a helping hand to everyone. Bill, you will be missed by all that have met you over the years. So glad we were able to have some great chats over the last few weeks, remembering funny times with Sylvia and I being dumb and dumber. Sylvia, Shawn, and Mike, my heart aches for you with the loss of Bill. Sylvia, he was your soulmate, as you were his. He was one of a kind and was an inspiration to us all. Our deepest sympathy and love, Barb, Gerald, Jessica, and Megan

Sylvia Shawn and Mike and your Families: My deep felt sorrow in the passing of Bill. I will forever remember all the stories him and Sylvia would tell at work. He was the best Boss you would every want. Over the years it was a treat to get up very morning and look forward to going to work. First at the store then Post Office. We had a good relationship, the three of us and i will cherish those memories. we both loved our gardens and each spring we would have a competition so to speak to see who would have the first daffodils out. My heart is sad that he never got the chance to enjoy his retirement. Another good man is gone before his time. Rest in peace.Bill

So sorry to hear of your loss. It is difficult to know what to say at a time like this. Bill lived a good full life. Jewel has a tribute video on FB and after watching, it is not hard to tell that you two had a special bond. All the memories that have made over the years will help so much in keeping Bill alive in your lives. Just reading about the squirrel in the mail box is one example - that was funny! I sure you have many memories you can draw on. Please accept my sincere sympathy. Praying that God will give you strength and comfort in the days and weeks ahead. Joanne

A few days ago, Tim said to me, "If I can be as good to you, as my Uncle Bill has been to my Aunt Sylvia, I'll be a happy man." Bill certainly led by example. A dedicated family man and a loyal friend to many. And for sure, the best grandfather a kid could have! I have never met another person, who had such a good outlook on life. When I think of Bill, I think of a man who was very contented with his life. I can picture him now, lounging in his chair with his hand on his belly (you all know what I mean) looking very content. I will miss him. My sincere condolences to all that loved him......................Remembered fondly, Debra Kalynuik

I am so terribly saddened to hear of Bill's passing... many, MANY a summer day it was routine to head to Jeffrey's Store and pop in to buy some snacks for the day. It was often both Bill and Sylvia there to take care of us. One of the best and memorable quotes that Bill would issue to us was; "... you know, there is a store just up the road, maybe you would like to shop there once in a while..." (I am pretty sure he meant it in jest... LOL!!!). A fine man, may you rest in peace.
