It is with sadness, that the family of Jennie Robichaud (Smith), age 76, of Bloomfield, NB, announces her death which occurred on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Sussex Health Centre. She was born in Fredericton, NB, on January 22, 1941, a daughter of the late Alfred and Ruby (Webster) Smith. Jennie is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert "Bob" Robichaud; son Laurie Robichaud of Saint John, NB; daughter Heather Sonier of Saint John, NB; grandchildren: Lewis and Stephanie Simard; brothers Clarence Smith and his wife Cathy of Fernie, BC, and David Smith and his wife Linda of Sussex Corner, NB; sister Ruth Palmer of Fredericton, NB; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her brother Lee Smith; and sisters: Shirley Jeffrey and Christina Wallace. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB. A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 25, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Norton, NB.
