Obituary of Gord Bradley

It is with heavy hearts the family of Edward Gordon (Gord) Bradley, age 63, husband of Donna Nutter, of Evandale, NB, announces his death which occurred on Friday, August 25, 2017. Gord was born May 10, 1954 in Toronto, ON the son of the late Edward and Olive Bradley. Gord grew up in Sussex NB and graduated from Sussex High School in 1974. He played hockey all through school and beyond. Gord learned commercial painting from his father and was able to use it locally and out west. During his time in Alberta, he also worked as a seismic driller. At one time, Gord was also a UFCW member. He enjoyed watching wrestling with his friends. Gord was also a big Rock music fan, attending concerts whenever he could. Retired for many years, Gord still enjoyed fishing, hunting, and driving his ATV – he loved the outdoors, his family and friends, and was an avid gardener. Gord seldom missed the Cassidy Lake fishing tournament or the Great Quispamsis Sturgeon Hunt. He also enjoyed the occasional game of golf. Gord was a lifelong fan of the Montreal Canadians and later added the Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Saint John Sea Dogs as favourite sports teams. Gord is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Nutter (buddy Captain Spalding – the cat); sister Kim MacLean (niece Laura); brother Bob Bradley (Shelley, nephew Jesse, niece Olivia); brother John Bradley (Marian, nephews Patrick and Sean); mother in law Alida Nutter; brothers in law Tim Nutter (Kathy, niece Kristie, nephew Matthew) and Bill Nutter. "Jack" will be sorely missed by family and friends. Visitation at Sherwood’s Funeral Services will be informal – wear your camo if you’ve got it – all are welcome to share stories celebrating Gord’s life. No perfumes please.
