The death of Joseph Blake Bostwick, age 85, husband of Gwen (Owen) Bostwick, of Wickham, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Wednesday, June 28, 2017. Born in Saint John, NB, on March 14, 1932, he was the son of the late Ottis and Mary (McCann) Bostwick. Joe is survived by his wife Gwen, daughters Evelyn Bostwick (Mark Bochmann) of Halifax, NS and Edith Bostwick (Duaine Simms) of Ottawa, ON; grandson Nikita Joseph Bochmann; brother John Bostwick (Kathy); sisters Peggy MacDonald (George), Shirley (Roland) Reicker and Sandra (David) Gray; brother-in-law Lloyd Mott; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother George (Roma) and sister Gerry. At Joe’s request there will be no visitation or service. Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156) are entrusted with arrangements. A private interment will take place in Wickham Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Joe may be made to Wickham Cemetery, Wickham Fire Dept or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
