It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ralph Earle Lawson, age 62, of Wickham, NB, announces his death. Ralph passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 doing what he loved, which was working on the jobsite on a sunny day. Ralph was born in Sussex, NB, on February 26, 1955, a son of the late Denton and Mamie (Coleman) Lawson. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Lou Slipp; children: Benjamin Lawson and his wife Marianne of Quispamsis, NB, Clint Lawson of Wickham, NB, and Tammy London and her husband Grant of Brown’s Flat, NB; step children: Valerie Slipp (Brad Cook) of Lower Greenwich, NB, James Slipp of Central Hampstead and Laura Slipp of Wickham, NB; sisters: Ruth (Einer) Housken, Evelyn Martin and Margaret (Bev) Stevens; sister-in-law Carol Lawson; thirteen grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his sister Eileen Vail and brother Frank Lawson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 2 to 8PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00am from Sherwood’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place at Wickham Cemetery, Wickham, NB.
