Raymond Brundage Jones, husband of the late Mary (McKinney) Jones of Evandale. NB, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on March 6, 2017 at the age of 90. He was born January 13, 1927 in the house in Evandale, where he lived all his life. He was the son of the late Faulds and Jessie (Brundage) Jones. Raymond loved working in the woods and was very proud of his 8th generation farm. He’s been a life-long fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed watching many games. He was a great son, brother, husband, father, uncle and Papa that anyone could ever ask for. Raymond is survived by his two sons Kevin (Judy) of Evandale, and Mark (Wonda) of Roachville ; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Brad) Jardine, Melanie (Terry) Marr, Ashley (Scott) Paisley, Miranda and Mirissa Jones ; seven great-grandchildren, Bradley and Luke Jardine, Kevin, Ashlynne and Ryden Marr, Aleigha and Kaylee Paisley ; several nieces and nephews, and a special caregiver MaryLou Cassidy. Raymond was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Bird. Visitation will take place at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, Thursday March 9, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Service will be held Friday, March 10, 2017, at 2:00 pm, at the Wesley United Church in Brown’s Flat. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to the Wesley United Church Brown’s Flat or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
