The death of Mark Arthur Evans, age 58, husband of Angela (Boyce) Evans of Hatfield Point, NB, occurred by accident on Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born in Saint John, NB, the son of the late Roy and Elizabeth (Akerley) Evans. Mark is survived by his wife Angie; daughters Stephanie (Peter) Evans and Rebecca (David) Evans; sons Richard (Mandy) Evans and Nathan Evans; step-sons Joey Lapointe (Joelle) and Niko Lapointe; grandchildren Campbell, Malcolm, Olivia, Bailee, Burke and Darcy; brothers and sisters Frank (Jo-Anne) Evans; Joanne Curran, Philip (Susan) Evans, Ellen (Ian) Ruddick, Julie (Dave) Coyle and Darin (Yvonne) Evans; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Virginia Evans. Mark was truly loved by all who knew him. Family and friends meant everything to him. Mark had a big heart and helped anyone with anything, as he was a jack of all trades. He loved music and was a beautiful singer and guitar player. He should have been the 5th Beatle. Mark loved and played hockey all his life. Chicago was his team and Alpine was his beer. He was always up for a good party and loved his summers on the Belleisle Bay. Mark will be deeply missed and forever loved. Visitation will take place at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Friday, January 20, 2017, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm.
