It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Marlene Martin, 65, of Saint John, NB, announces her sudden death which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on November 22, 2016. She was born on September 1, 1951 in Henderson Settlement, NB, a daughter of the late Henry Bruce and Gladys (Henderson) Martin. Shirley is survived by her sister Jean Aiton and her husband Ian of Roachville, NB; sister-in-law Evelyn Martin of Henderson Settlement; nephews: Chris Martin, Jeff Martin (Naomi), Michael Aiton and Bruce Martin; and great nieces and nephews: Owen, Hayden and Emma. Besides her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her brothers Ronald and Wayne Martin. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm, on Friday, November 25, 2016. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 11:00 am from Sherwood’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place at Shannon Cemetery.
