Obituary of Margaret Keirstead
Surrounded by her family, Margaret Jean Keirstead, of Midland, NB, age 53, wife of Richard Keirstead, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, October 10, 2016. Margaret was born on January 9, 1963, the daughter of Bertha (Jones) and the late John Jackson of McDonald's Point.
Besides her husband and mother, Margaret will be dearly missed by her daughter Lauren and son Garrett (Taylor McLean); brothers John (Beth) Jackson of McDonald's Point, Paul (Heather) Lockhart of Joliff's Brook, and Robert (Melissa) Noel of Jeffries Corner; parents-in-law John & Helen Keirstead of Norton; brothers-in-law Reg Keirstead of Norton; and John (Vicky) Keirstead of Sussex; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Margaret was a graduate of Belleisle Regional High School and NBCC Saint John, and was employed at Service New Brunswick, Hampton as Deputy Registrar of Deeds and Land Titles for the Province of NB.
A private family service will be held at St. Peter's Anglican Church, Carpenter, NB, with interment in Day's Point Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends to celebrate Margaret's life at the Belleisle Community Centre, 1648 Route 124, Springfield, on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 1 to 4 PM.
Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, are entrusted with arrangements.
