It is with sadness that the family of Doris Marie Otis of Norton, NB, announce her death which occurred at the QE II Health Sciences Centre, Halifax, NS, July 15, 2016. She was born on April 19, 1956, in Sussex the daughter of Joan (Davidson) Otis and the late Aubrey Otis of Norton, NB Doris is survived by daughter Mandy Shaw of Norton; son Laurie and Tiffany Shaw of Norton; grandchildren Avrie, Annie, Kris, Adisen, and Rhaya; Mother Joan Otis; brother Russell and Bernice Otis of Norton; nieces Sherry Blakney and Aubrey and Wendy Otis and Stuart; nephew Mark and Ivy Otis;several great nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Daryl, a special family friend who was there in our time of need. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, where visitation will be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Funeral service will be held from Sherwood’s Chapel at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, followed by interment in Riverbank Cemetery Donations in memory of Doris may be made to a Living memorial or the memorial of the donor’s choice.
